The Platform 2 Confirms Netflix Release Date With Creepy First Trailer
The platform 9 From Infinity series has built a loyal fan base in recent years with its creative storytelling and shocking plot twists. Now, the sci-fi horror genre is expected to get an even stranger and more haunting experience, as the "Platform" series is going to give us a continuation of 9. Confirming speculation, Netflix finally announced on Monday that its sequel movie, "Platform 2", will land on August 21. Along with the release date, an unsettling first trailer has revealed a glimpse into the frightening world of Glória Bueno.
A follow-up to the thought-provoking and anxiety-inducing 2014 film based on the works of sci-fi author Agustí Villaronga, Glória Bueno, from Spain, sets the eerie atmosphere with what appears like a desolate, desolate landscape, and where the two protagonists, Goran Ivanov (Ignacio López Tarso), and Andreu (Daniel Grao), find the platform which they will join the story. This gives us what appears to have been what has been reported in news and media about the platform’s dark and inhumane past.
"We are ecstatic to share a new edition of ‘The Platform.’ It is one of a kind," he said (Glória Bueno is quoted). Netflix has had the opportunity of bringing Glória Bueno’s novel to life.
The visuals of the upcoming film in the first movie are, to say, a departure from the gloomy shadows and dim red lighting it had in The Platform with its vibrant. The characters of Goran and Andrew will face these new world with their respective fears.
It’s already clear at this point – Platform. The second round of violence and chaos of the upper floors will become a place of hopeless despair is coming.
