Mindhunter Star Shares Hopeful Update on Possible Season 3 After Netflix Delay
Fans of the critically acclaimed crime drama series Mindhunter have been left on the edge of their seats for months, waiting for an update on the status of Season 3. "We’re still working on it," Penhall said. "We’re still talking to Netflix about it. We’re still writing. We’re still casting. We’re still trying to make it happen."
When asked if there was a specific timeline for when fans could expect to see Season 3, Penhall remained tight-lipped, but expressed optimism about the show’s future.
"I think we’re getting closer," he said. "I think we’re making progress. I think we’re going to make it happen. I’m really hopeful that we’re going to be able to bring it back."
The delay in production has been attributed to Netflix’s packed slate of original content, which includes a number of high-profile shows and movies. However, fans of Mindhunter have been vocal about their desire to see the show return, and the cast has also expressed their enthusiasm for revisiting their characters.
In a recent tweet, Jonathan Groff, who plays FBI trainee Holden Ford, thanked fans for their continued support and expressed his hope that the show would return soon.
